The Surf Club Kurrawa has one main objective, to provide financial support to the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club. During the 2010 / 2011 financial year this support came in the form of $667,074.
The donated funds have enabled Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club to purchase vital equipment and upgrade facilities, as detailed below:
- Inflatable rescue boats, motors and equipment
- First aid supplies and equipment
- Rescue boards and patrol equipment
- Patrol trailer
- Patrol and IRB driver uniforms
- Nipper craft and equipment
- Training equipment and furniture
- Members subsidies for craft, swimming and beach apparatus
- Gear and equipment trailer
